🚃BY TRAIN or 🚌BY BUS
When you arrive Chiayi Train Station, take Chiayi County Bus to Alishan ( bus time to Alishan：06:10、08:10、10:10、12:10、14:10; Running Time: almost 2.5hrs; Fare: NT$221) →
Get off at “Youth Activity Center” Station ( Attention the reminder at LED. ) → Follow the left side of the road walk to Alishan Youth Activity Center (almost 40-50min).
※You can see the amazing sunset in Alishan Youth Activity Center. But if you want go to see Alishan sunrise. The Local Shuttle Service is cost NT$500 or walk almost for two hours.

Highway→ ZhongPu exit→ Turn left to connect Provincial Highway 18(AlishanHighway)→ Turn left at 85.2km location→ AlishanYouth Activity Center
※if you want to see the sunrise in the hill of A Li Shan YAC International Youth Hostel, the reception could assistance you to call the shuttle bus to the hill of top (about NT$500/ just a way) or walk up to the hill by yourself(about 2 hours)
